Don’t just expect MDA to meet your needs, but to exceed them.
For more than a quarter of a century, we’ve been designing, planning and delivering the finest live events.
If you need to build a conference, exhibition, gala dinner, product launch, fund raising event
or awards’ presentation, you will find us creative, professional, attentive and easy to work with.
We will become part of your team, approaching every project with inventive thinking, respect and meticulous attention to detail.
Michael’s been creating events since the time before the Internet and is still at the forefront of the art. From small, intimate resource development events to 400 delegate 7 day sabbaticals on foreign shores, he knows how to deliver the goods. When he does get a moment's break he drives a 400 bhp BMW in the CSCC championship.
Project lead Grace is one of those people you easily underestimate on first acquaintance. As quiet as Clint Eastwood’s ‘Man with no name’ she carries the same steely glare. One look can wither a supplier into sorting any ‘challenge’. She splits her free time between being a ski instructor, (helping yet more people to avoid falling down) and as a Pilates instructor (so helping them to be flexible). Both good principles for dealing with events!
Charlie has been helping with MDA since he was twelve, he now manages the logistics for all our events and works closely with our third party AV suppliers to ensure a seamless installation and derig. He’s so versatile he holds his Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence and can be found driving our truck to events then at the weekend he races a 300bhp VW Polo. (Sponsorship opportunities always available!) Apparently its faster than our white van - but only just.
Barbara is the quiet one at the back that makes sure everything runs smoothly and all those little details such as supporting literature and suchlike are in the right place at the right time and vitally, every one gets fed! Between you and me she is the master of name badges
We specialise in finding the right venue in the right location to ensure the success of your event. Our in-depth knowledge and longstanding relationships mean that we draw on our experience to book the right location to suit the story being told. Whilst researching and sourcing the suitable space we always take into consideration the production elements making sure that it will fulfil your expectations.
As an integral part of your event you will have on hand an event manager and director to help you through the whole process from planning, to staging, to post event. They will be on hand to meet at any time leading up to the event. We believe that successful events are built on positive relationships. A lot of our event planning goes unnoticed and that is just the way it should be.
Without creativity you become formulaic and that is not our way. We like to build uniqueness into every event and adore the challenge when asked to do something a little different. Covering the columns in the highest bar in the world in chocolate perhaps? Making a room smell of the client’s product? How about turning an entire warehouse into a darkroom for a lighting launch? Throughout the process we apply our creative team for the best branding solutions, to communicate your values and bring life to a venue.
From digital media production, catering to cleaning, furniture to carpet, musicians to magicians, lighting to projection we have a network of contacts who we have worked with for many years. Partner companies have been selected on their professionalism, reliability, consistency and being able to deliver to the same exacting standards and solutions, to communicate your values and bring life to a venue.
It doesn’t matter how many times I have to click, as long as each click is a mindless, unambiguous choice.
Never fall in love with an idea. They’re whores. If the one you’re with isn’t doing the job, there’s always another.
All that is valuable in human society depends upon the opportunity for development accorded the individual.
Photography is the simplest thing in the world, but it is incredibly complicated to make it really work.
